Community outings are an important part of the Activities program here at MeadowWood.  Outings to go shopping at various stores in the area, lunch outings to favorite restaurants and scenic drives are among the favorites.  Special outings to concerts, casinos and museums, just to name a few, will also pop up throughout the year.

 

Currently, MeadowWood and St. Joseph's Rehabilitation Center are fundraising to purchase a wheel-chair accessible bus for community outings.  Even though the bus has been recently ordered, we still have much fundraising left to do.  The bus is expectly to be delivered in August, 2006.
